This is ESCBubble’s winner of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023!

During today’s Super Saturday, Denmark is one of the countries which is going to be selecting their song for Eurovision 2023. A total of 8 acts are competing to win over the hearts of the Danish public and the jury in this year’s edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, to be the one selected to represent their country this coming May in Liverpool.

Moments after the eight songs were released, we asked you to let us know who YOUR favorites are in this year’s Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023. At the moment of writing the article, the current standings of our poll were as follows:

  1. Eyjaa – I Was Gonna Marry Him – 27%
  2. Nicklas Sonne – Freedom – 16%
  3. Micky Skeel – Glansbillede – 15%
  4. Reiley – Breaking My Heart – 14%
  5. Maia Maia – Beautiful BS – 11%
  6. Soren Torpegaard Lund – Lige her – 8%
  7. Frederik Leopold – Stuck On You – 5%
  8. Mariyah LeBerg – Human – 3%

Our team members have also listened to the eight finalists of DMGP, and this is how our team ranked the entries:

  1. Reiley – Breaking My Heart
  2. Soren Torpegaard Lund – Lige her
  3. Nicklas Sonne – Freedom
  4. Maia Maia – Beautiful BS
  5. Frederik Leopold – Stuck On You
  6. Eyjaa – I Was Gonna Marry Him
  7. Micky Skeel – Glansbillede
  8. Mariyah LeBerg – Human

There’s a clear difference between the votes of our readers and the votes of our team members in this national selection. Whilst Eyjaa are the runaway favorites with our readers, the two girls only finished in 6th place with our team members. The favorite of our team is Reiley, who only finished in 4th place with our public. When we put all the votes together, ESCBubble’s winner was actually Nicklas Sonne – the second favorite of our readers, and the third favorite of our team members.
