Andrew Lambrou: “It felt Eurovision, but it also felt like I could hear it anywhere.”

Not winning Australia Decides didn’t mean that was the last we’d hear of buff Australian-Greek-Cypriot Andrew Lambrou. Following the aftermath of last year’s Eurovision national final Andrew was approached by Cyprus’ broadcaster CyBc for a potential collab and fast pass to actual Eurovision. The resulting song is Scandi-penned Break a Broken Heart, about pushing through an already broken mess, which is what Andrew has done to be here today representing Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool.

ESC Bubble’s Cain sat down with Andrew at Cypriot restaurant Barzaari in Sydney’s Marrickville, to break apart a broken… baklava.
