This year’s Portuguese Eurovision representative Mimicat has released new music. You can listen to the song ”Vais Ter Saudades” here:

Marisa Isabel Lopes Mena, better known as her artist name Mimicat, is a Portuguese singer-songwriter, who released her debut single ”Tell Me Why” in 2014. Later that same year her debut album ”For You” came out. Mimicat’s second album ”Back in Town” was released in 2017. In 2021 she changed her singing language as she released her first single in Portuguese, ”Tudo ao ar”.

In March 2023 Mimicat won Festival da Canção, Portuguese national selection for Eurovision, with her song ”Ai Coração”. She carried the Portuguese flag in Liverpool in May, qualifying for The Grand Final. In The Grand Final Mimicat finished 23rd with 59 points.
