The submission period for Moldovan artists to send their entries in order to become the next Eurovision representative of that Eastern European country has closed and Moldovan broadcaster TRM has revealed that they received a total of 51 songs for Etapa Națională 2024.

Next step involves an expert committee who will be reviewing all 51 songs in order to check whether all of them are meeting the conditions and could take part in the live auditions. They are expected to review them in the period from 22nd to 29th of December. Live auditions will be held at TRM studios on 13th of January. The judges will be rating all of the entries in a Eurovision voting style 0 to 12 points and the 10 acts with the highest amount of points will advance to the grand final of Etapa Națională 2024 which is set to take place on 17th of February.  The winner of the show be selected by 50% of the jury votes and 50% of the audience votes.

At Eurovision 2023, Moldovan flag was carried for the second time by Pasha Parfeni who scored a total of 96 points which placed “Soarele și Luna” as 18th in the grand final of the show. You can check it out below
