Isabella Kearney is the fourth Finalist of Ireland’s ‘Eurosong’

As we all know, Ireland’s RTÉ is once again hosting a national selection in order to find their entry for Eurovision. A total of six finalists have been selected to compete in this year’s “Eurosong” special of “The Late Late Show” on the 26th of January. Erica Cody with “Love Me Like I Do” and Ailsha with “Go Tobann” have been announced as the first two finalists in the past two days, and today we get a total of two more entries. The first one announced today was JyellowL with “Judas”, and we can now confirm that the fourth Irish finalist is none other than Isabella Kearney, with the song “Let Me Be The Fire”.

Isabella is a singer-songwriter, who, in between others, wrote songs for Lizzo, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Demi Lovato. When talking about her Eurosong entry “Let Me Be The Fire”, Isabella stated:

From the moment “Let Me Be The Fire” was written, I felt like it could perfect for Eurovision. I feel like as a songwriter, Eurovision is such an exciting opportunity. Some of the best writers in the world have had songs participate and I just felt proud that I could be a part of that.

Also, I think Ireland needs a win in Eurovision and the Irish community is ready to send a world class song.

“Let Me Be The Fire” was premierly played on The Ray D’Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1, and you can give it a listen right here:

One more act is going to be announced today, whilst the final two will be announced tomorrow and on Friday. Stay tuned to ESCBubble.
