Tali wins Luxembourg Song Contest and will fly the flag in Sweden!

Tonight, we watched as eight home-grown acts took to the stage at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette to mark a new era for Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest. Their first participation in over 30 years, since 1993, and they put on a spectacular show of eight varied performances to make their decision. After the first round of voting, a superfinal of the top three acts were confirmed to be Tali, Krick and Joel Marques.

Voting reopened for a short time and the winner was crowned. If you’re looking to avoid spoilers, make sure to skip this part…

 

The winner of the Luxembourg Song Contest and the person getting the ticket to Malmö, Sweden, is… Tali with her entry “Fighter“! You can listen to the official audio here:

We will find out out on Tuesday evening which semi final the Luxembourg representative will be performing in, until then, bon voyage!
