The 2024 edition of the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix kicks off tonight with its first semi final. A total of six acts will be competing to win over the hearts of the public, and to receive one of the three places that lead to the Grand Final.

In the past week, since the songs were released, we asked you to let us know which acts are YOUR personal favorites. At the moment of writing this article, the results were as follows:

1. Margaret Berger – Oblivion – 33%
2. Gothminister – We Come Alive – 23%
3. Mathilde SPZ ft. Chris Archer and Slam Dunk – Woman Show – 19%
4. Ingrid Jasmin – Eya – 11%
5. Fredrik Halland – Stranded – 8%
6. Myra – Heart On Fire – 6%

Our team members also listened to the six competing songs, and voted. These are our results:

Both our readers and our team members agree on who tonight’s three qualifiers should be, only in a slightly different order – Margaret Berger, Gotminister and Mathilde SPZ ft. Chris Archer and Slam Dunk. In both votes Ingrid Jasmin finished close to the third place, so we should not count Ingrid out.
