From Vēstulēs to Alekss Silvers, here is the running order of Supernova 2024
The final of Supernova 2024 will take place this Saturday, 10th of February. The Latvian broadcaster, LTVy, has revealed the running order of all of the acts which will be competing in the show. A total of ten acts will be giving their best in order to win and get a chance to wave the Latvian flag at Eurovision 2024 and try to break a 6 year streak of Latvian non-qualification to the final of Eurovision Song Contest.
- Vēstulēs – “Kur?”
- Avéi – “Mine”
- Papīra lidmašīnas – “Mind Breaker”
- Katrīna Gupalo – “The Cat’s Song”
- Ecto – “Outsider”
- Dons – “Hollow”
- Saint Levića – “Tick-Tock”
- Edvards Strazdiņš – “Rock n’ Roll Supernova”
- Funkinbiz – “Na Chystu Vodu”
- Alekss Silvers – “For the Show”
A combination of public vote and jury vote will determine the results in both shows. Voting will be open from the beginning of the show and one phone call will be equal to one vote while one SMS equals to 10 votes for the act. The hosts of the show will be Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks.
Out of the ten acts only two are performed in a language other than English. Funkinbiz sings in Ukrainian while Vēstulēs performs in Latvian language. The final will feature guest acts from Estonia, Alika will be there to perform her ESC 2023 entry “Bridges” and from Lithuania, Gabrieļus Vagelis will perform his songs.
