Full results of Eesti Laul 2024 released

Eesti Laul 2024 finished last weekend, and after two rounds of voting in the Grand Final, Estonia selected 5miinust and Puuluup to represent the Baltic nation in Eurovision 2024 in Malmö with “(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi”. Now the Estonian national broadcaster ERR revealed the full results of this year’s Eesti Laul.

Semi Final

In the Semi Final, the jury seemed to have loved both songs of Ewert, as his songs finished in the top two of the jury vote. Inga finished third, whilst the eventual runner-up Ollie finished fourth, and the overall winners finished 7th. Televoting saw the Eesti Laul winners as the favorites all along, followed by Ollie in second place, and Ingmar who failed to qualify for the Final was the third favorite in the Semi. After scoring 5 points in the first round, Anet Vaikmaa won the second round of televoting and thus qualified for the Final. Even though he only finished third-last in the first round of televoting, Peter Põder received a huge boost in the televote in the second round of voting, finished in second place and thus qualified for the Grand Final. On the other hand, big favorites in the first round of televoting, who scored well over 1,000 votes – Ingmar and Laura, both failed in the second round, and watched the Grand Final from the comfort of their own homes.

Grand Final

The full televoting results from both round of the Grand Final were also revealed. The jury and the public agreed on the top two acts, and whilst the public had Daniel Levi in third place in the first round of voting, the jury ranked him 6th, which meant he finished in fourth place overall. Nele-Liis Vaiksoo was the second favorite with the juries, and finished just behind Daniel Levi in the televote, meaning that she was going to proceed to the Superfinal.
