The 2024 edition of DORA – Croatia’s national selection for Eurovision, kicks off today. The festival is back to Zagreb for the first time since 2011, and in this year’s edition a total of 24 acts will compete across two semi finals and one Grand Final to win, and to go on to represent Croatia in Eurovision 2024. In tonight’s semi final, 12 acts will compete to win over the hearts of the Croatian public, and to get one of the eight spots that lead to the Sunday’s Grand Final.
Ahead of tonight’s show, our team members listened to the competing songs and voted, and these were our results:
- Let 3 – Baba Roga
- Vinko – Lying Eyes
- Eugen – Tisine
- Mario Battifiaca ft. Robert Ferlin – Vodu piti trizan biti
- Misha – One Day
- Stefany Zuzic – Sretnih dana dat’ ce Bog
- Lana Mandaric – More
- Sasa Lozar – Ne placem zbog nje
- Barbara Munjas – Nepobjediva
- Pavel – Do mjeseca
- Erna – How Do You Love Me
- Noelle – Baby, Baby
The runaway favorite in this Semi Final were last year’s Croatian Eurovision entrants – Let 3, and they should be sailing through tonight’s Semi to the Grand Final. Vinko and Eugen complete our team’s top three, and they are then followed by the only duet in this semi final – Mario and Robert in fourth, and the mystery act – Misha in 5th place. Apart from them, our team members believe that we should see Stefany Zuzic, Lana Mandaric and Sasa Lozar qualify tonight, but with live performances tonight – anything can happen and everything can change.
