The final of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2024 just finished. Windows95man won the show and has been selected to represent Finland at the stage of Eurovision Song Contest 2024. .

The show was held at Nokia Arena in Tampere and the hosts were comedian Pilvi Hämäläinen, singer Benjamin Peltonen (UMK 2023) and TV-host Viivi Pumpanen. Total of seven acts competed for a chance to succeed Käärijä and wave the Finnish flag at Eurovision 2024. The voting was done with 25% of the votes of international jury from seven countries and 75% of the televote.

The running order was as follows:

1. Sini Sabotage – Kuori mua
2. Cyan Kicks – Dancing with Demons
3. Jesse Markin – Glow
4. Mikael Gabriel x nublu – Vox populi
5. Sara Siipola – Paskana
6. Sexmane – Mania
7. Windows95man – No Rules!

The final was opened by two acts which competed at UMK 2023, Benjamin who performed  “Hoida mut” and KUUMAA who performed the most listened song on Finnish radio and their last years entry “Ylivoimainen”. As the interval act we had a chance to see the duet between the runners up of Eurovision 2023 and UMK 2020 Käärijä and Erika Vikman who performed their song which was released yesterday titled “Ruoska” (eng. Whip).

After the jury votes, results were as follows:

1. Sara Siipola – Paskana 70 pts
2. Cyan Kicks – Dancing with Demons 48 pts
3. Mikael Gabriel x nublu – Vox populi 42 pts
4. Sini Sabotage – Kuori mua 38 pts
5. Jesse Markin – Glow 34 pts
6. Sexmane – Mania 34 pts
7. Windows95man – No Rules! 28 pts

The televotes flipped the list over and the final results ended being as below

1. Windows95man – No Rules! 313 pts
2. Sara Siipola – Paskana 273 pts
3. Cyan Kicks – Dancing with Demons 128 pts
4. Mikael Gabriel x nublu – Vox populi 178 pts
5. Sini Sabotage – Kuori mua 38 pts
6. Jesse Markin – Glow 110 pts
7. Sexmane – Mania 65 pts
