In the end of January, through a national final, Ireland has decided that Bambie Thug will be representing them with the song “Doomsday Blue”. The official music video of the Irish Eurovision Song Contest 2024 has just been premiered at the official YouTube channel of Eurovision Song Contest.
“Doomsday Blue” was selected after scoring maximum amount of points among the national jury and the televote while the international jury gave the song eight points. So after getting a total of 32 points Bambie emerged as the winner and as the one to wave the Irish flag in Malmö. Bambie will be performing “Doomsday Blue” in the first half of the first semi-final which is set to take place on 7th of May.
