On 16th of January it was announced that Kaleen will be the one to represent Austria at Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Her entry had its official release on 1st of March. Today the premiere of the official music video for “We Will Rave” took place.

Marie-Sophie Kreissl, who goes by Kaleen is a singer, dancer and choreographer born on 12th of November 1994 in Wels, Austria. She started ballet by a very young age and already at the age of five Kaleen won her first Austrian championship title. In 2014, together with her dance partner Paulo Albert, she became a finalist of “Got to Dance”. From 2020, Marie-Sophie worked both as choreographer and stage director for ORF. In September last year, Kaleen released her first album “Stripping Feelings”.

She is not a newcomer to the Eurovision stage as she was part of the show since 2018. Kaleen was a stand-in lead artist for the rehearsals of several countries and a dancer and choreographer for the interval acts in Lisbon. Marie-Sophie also has experience in Junior Eurovision, as she was the Creative Director for Bulgaria in 2021, and for Spain in both 2021 and 2022. Kaleen supported Austria, Armenia, Germany and Georgia with their stage performances last year in Liveprool.

Austria will be performing in the first half of the second semi-final which is set to take place on the 9th of May. You can check out the official music video of “We Will Rave” below
