During today’s special press conference, where the Director of RTV Slovenija revealed the upcoming programme for the 2016, it was finally announced which artists are going to compete for the golden ticket to Eurovision in Stockholm.
The Entertainment Director, Mario Galunič, explained that they’re going to continue some of their entertainment shows, just as Vse je mogoče (Everything’s Possible), Vem, (I know) as well as EMA, Slovenia’s national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. There will be ten contestants and show itself will be broadcasted at February 27th in Studio 1 of RTV Slovenija.
Jury who choose songs were Alenka Godec (singer), Gaber Radojević (music producer), Jernej Vene (editor at Val 202) and Aleksander Radić (Slovenian Head of Delegation for Eurovision Song Contest).

One of the special guests were Maraaya, who represented Slovenia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, as well as Lina Kuduzović, who represented Slovenia at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Maraaya performed their very first hit single “Lovin’ me” and their Eurovision entry, “Here For You”, and Lina Kuduzović performed her Junior Eurovision entry “Prva ljubezen / First Love”.
