Anna Book said ”yes” to performing tomorrow night!

A sigh of relief among schlager fans and those who wished Anna Book well: she has agreed to perform her song tomorrow night during the first heat of Melodifestivalen!

Anna has reacted to last night’s commotion saying she was shocked and not able to sleep.
The songwriters Sven-Inge Sjöberg, Lennart Wastesson and Larry Forsberg have also reacted to the news, saying that, indeed, they didn’t know the song they sent to the Moldovan preselection had been made accessible to the audience. They got a message from Moldovan broadcaster TRM that their entry had not been selected for the semi-finals so they were under the impression no one but the broadcaster had heard the song. They had no idea all songs that were sent in to the Moldovan 2014 NF had been uploaded, including their song.

Camilla Läckberg, well-known Swedish crime novellist and asked by Anna Book herself to write the Swedish lyrics for Himmel För Två has been trying to get an entry into Melodifestivalen for some years. She says she is doing well despite the disqualification, stating that she’s quite pragmatic and thinks you shouldn’t cry over things you can’t change. She has been in contact with Anna and says: ”I have been talking to Anna this morning and it looks like the shock is slowly fading away now”. Camilla also confirms Anna will be rehearsing like all the other acts tonight and that Anna’s intention is to perform tomorrow night.

Christer Björkman says they would be happy to have Anna performing tomorrow night, but that she’s in a fragile state at the moment, so it’s not sure wether it’s going to take place, but they are really hoping so. Anna has a place tomorrow but in case she wouldn’t be able to do it, there are alternatives in the script, Björkman ensures.
