Slavko Kalezic recorded “Space” in Sweden

Montenegro has opted for an internal selection once again this year, and a few months ago it was revealed that the singer and actor Slavko Kalezic is going to be representing Montenegro in 2017 in Kiev with the song “Space”.

“Space” was written by Momcilo Zekovic. Now Slavko travelled to Sweden, where he worked together in the studio with Jovan Radomir, Johan Kronlund, and Stefan Orn, who already has a rich Eurovision experience – he co-wrote four song representing Azerbaijan in Eurovision – Drip Drop, When The Music Dies, Start A Fire, and Running Scared which won the Contest in 2011.

Both Slavko Kalezic and Momcilo Zekovic were pleased with how the recordings in Sweden went. Slavko stated:

It was a great experience recording here in Sweden. I am enthusiastic and full of positive energy, not just for the fact we did a great job, but also because our hosts were delighted with the song that will be presented in Kyiv in May.

Montenegro will take part in the first half of the first semi final in Kiev, on the 9th of May. “Space” is going to be presented in the beginning of March, so stay tuned. In the meanwhile, listen to one of his biggest hits “Krivac” here:
