Bosnia’s Eurovision participation still unclear

The national broadcaster of Bosnia & Herzegovina, BHRT, have just announced that their participation in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest is still unclear, due to a bad financial situation.

The EBU has extended the deadline until the 14th of November for Bosnia & Herzegovina to give a definite  answer whether we shall see this country in Vienna, or not. The Management Board of BHRT say that they  are giving their best in order to find funds and sponsors in order to send an entrant to Vienna. BHRT say that they have received 2 million Bosnian marks (approx. 1,022,000 Euros) less for the tv fee during this year, than it was the case last year, thus they are not sure if they can afford Eurovision or not.

Rumours were being spread about Hari Mata Hari being the Bosnian entrant for Eurovision 2015 in Vienna, but we guess we’ll now have to wait until the 14th of November to see if Bosnia & Herzegovina will be in Vienna after all, or will miss out for the third year in a row. Their last entrant up to date was Maya Sar who sang “Korake ti znam” in Eurovision 2012 in Baku.
