María’s acoustic versions of “Unbroken” and “Euphoria”

On Saturday FÁSES, aka OGAE Iceland, organized it’s annual preview party for members and guests. As always, this was a family happening, with approximately half the attendees under the age of 16, which is quite fitting, since the kids are the people with the voting power here.

The evening kicked off with María performing her entry, “Unbroken” and her favorite Eurovision entry, “Euphoria”. This was a very stripped down performance, as María was only accompanied on stage by one of the songwriters, Ásgeir, playing the guitar.

Then it was time for the “serious business”; watching all 40 entries on the big screen and of course *voting*!

The people present were split into pairs or groups of three, and each were given a country to represent. The juries could, of course, not vote for their own country.

And after three hours we got the result – Italy will win Eurovision Song Contest 2015 if OGAE Iceland and friends get to decide!
