The fourth annual Eurovision Weekend in Berlin takes place during the weekend of 17th-19th of July, and as always there will be Eurovision stars on stage during the Saturday night’s Grand Gala.
This year the stars are Danish singers DQ (2007) and Kirsten Siggaard (1984, 85, 88) and this year’s German representative, Ann Sophie.
The Eurovision Weekend is much more than a concert though. In addition to the performances by former participants, this year’s Eurovision Weekend includes Eurovision karaoke, sightseeing tours, Eurovision quiz and the “Fans sing for fans Contest”, where the fans themselves take on their favorite entries and perform for each other. There is of course voting.
It is the Berlin ESC fan group, in cooperation with OGAE Germany and EC Gremany, who organize the Eurovision Weekend together with an invited OGAE fanclub from another country. This year they have teamed up with the Danish OGAE fanclub melodigrandprixfans.dk.
Ticket sale for the event has already started, and it might be a good idea to get your ticket sooner rather than later, as the Eurovision Weekend last year was completely sold out. You can find all the information you need, and buy your ticket on the event’s webpage.
