Last year’s Eurovision Montengrin entrant, Slavko Kalezić could soon be making his way back to UK television screens! The infamous ponytail-swinging star has reportedly auditioned for the 14th series of the highly successful ITV show, X-Factor!
Although Slavko failed to make the Eurovision final with his song, “Space” last year – he has proven to be very popular with the show’s fanbase, and was certainly one of the most talked about stars of the contest last year.
It’s not the first time that there has been a connection between X-Factor UK and Eurovision. In 2016, we saw Finland’s UMK contestant, Saara Alto, make it to the final of Simon Cowell’s hit show, plus the star of the 2017 United Kingdom entry, Lucie Jones, was a contestant on a previous series of X-Factor too.
It’s yet unknown as to what song Slavko performed to wow the team at his audition, but if he made the cut, we’ll see him back on the small screen in Autumn, perhaps getting to perform in front of judges, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Sherzinger. Best of luck, Slavko!
If for some reason you’d forgotten who Slavko was (what planet in space are you on?) – here’s a reminder of his performance in the 1st Semi Final.
