20 participants of Depi Evratesil announced!

Armenia’s national broadcaster has just announced the list of 20 acts which are going to be competing to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Portugal!

AMPTV announced back on the 27th of October the launch of the second season of Depi Evratesil, Armenia’s Eurovision selection. For two months, the creative team of the project received dozens of applications from all over the world. After all the applications were received, a special jury has selected 20 entrants, who will enter the competition to represent Armenia in Portugal.

The 20 contestants of Depi Evratesil 2018 are as follows:

  • Sevak Khanaghyan
  • Suren Poghosyan
  • Mger Armenia
  • Tyom
  • Zhanna Davtyan
  • Hayk Kasparov
  • Gevorg Harutyunyan
  • Maria’s Secret
  • Hasmik Shiroyan
  • Angel
  • Amaliya Margaryan
  • Tamar Kaprelian
  • Lusine Mardanyan
  • Arman Mesropyan
  • Mariam
  • Kamil
  • Nemra
  • Alternative
  • Gata

In the participant list we find Tamar Kaprelian, who was one of the members of Genealogy, who represented Armenia back in Eurovision in 2015 with the song “Face The Shadow”.

The competing songs will be available on the YouTube page of Depi Evratesil starting from the 15th of January.

Depi Evratesil will consist of three rounds – a heat, semi final, and a final. The first live show of the second season will be held the 3rd of February 2018. The winner, and Armenia’s Eurovision entrant for 2018 will be selected by a mix of televoting and international jury votes. Artsvik represented Armenia earlier this year in Kiev with the song “Fly With Me”, and finished in 18th place.
