The second semi final of Selectia Nationala 2018, Romania’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest takes place tonight in Timisoara. A total of 12 acts are going to compete for the three places in the Final in tonight’s show, and these three finalists are going to be selected entirely by the jury, televoting will have no say in the results tonight.

In the past couple of days we ran a poll asking you which songs you would like to see qualify for the Final of Selectia Nationala 2018, and with just under 900 votes received, here are the current results:

  1. Jukebox feat. Bella Santiago – Auzi cum bate – 30.01%
  2. Serena – Safari – 27.21%
  3. Endless feat. Maria Grosu – Thinking About You – 15.79%
  4. M I H A I – Heaven – 9.97%
  5. Alessandro Danescu – Breaking Up – 7.39%
  6. Miruna Diaconescu – Run For You – 3.02%
  7. Jessie Banes – Lightning Strikes – 2.58%
  8. Rafael & Andy – We Are One – 1.23%
  9. Meriem – End The Battle – 0.90%
  10. Othello – Noi suntem padure – 0.78%
  11. Romeo Zaharia – Maybe This Time – 0.67%
  12. Pragu’ De Sus – Te voi chema – 0.45%

Our editors panel have also listened to the 12 songs which are competing tonight, and voted for them. This is our outcome:

  1. Jukebox feat. Bella Santiago – Auzi cum bate
  2. Serena – Safari
  3. Alessandro Danescu – Breaking Up
  4. Miruna Diaconescu – Run For You
  5. Endless feat. Maria Grosu – Thinking About You
  6. M I H A I – Heaven
  7. Jessie Banes – Lightning Strikes
  8. Pragu’ De Sus – Te voi chema
  9. Meriem – End The Battle
  10. Rafael & Andy – We Are One
  11. Othello – Noi suntem padure
  12. Romeo Zaharia – Maybe This Time

Both our readers and our editors agree that Jukebox and Bella Santiago should win tonight’s semi final, and that they should be followed by Serena and her song “Safari”. Whilst our readers want to see Endless and Maria Grosu as the third qualifiers of the night, our editors think it should be Alessandro Danescu. The biggest favorite of the night, Mihai, finished just outside the top three with our readers, and only 6th with our editors.

You can still vote in our poll if you haven’t done so until now, and you can still change the result. The poll will close at the end of the show tonight. Vote for your personal favorites that you would like to see proceed to the Finals, right here:
