Here are YOUR winners of Melodifestivalen’s Andra Chansen duels!
Melodifestivalen 2018 got to its “Second Chance” stage which is taking place tonight. A total of eight acts have been split into four duels of two, where the winner of each duel is going to qualify for next week’s Grand Final, which will take place in Friends Arena in Stockholm.
Over the last couple of days we asked you which is your personal favorite act in each of the four duels, and our panel of editors have also listened to the songs and cast their votes. Our polls won’t close until the end of tonight’s show, so you can still vote for your favorites in each of the four duels.
These are the outcomes of our readers’ results until now:
Duel 1
In the first duel we find Margaret and Moncho. The outcome of our readers is:
- Margaret – In My Cabana – 89.33%
- Moncho – Cuba Libre – 10.67%
As you can see, our readers are massively supporting Margaret. Our panel of editors also agreed, as they also think that Margaret should be the one to win this duel, and go through to the Final.
Duel 2
The second duel is reserved for Renaida and Olivia Eliason. The result of our poll is as follows:
- Renaida – All The Feels – 63.72%
- Olivia Eliason – Never Learn – 36.28%
The big majority of our readers is supporting Renaida in this duel, and once again, our panel of editors agree.
Duel 3
Felix Sandman and Mimi Werner are going to be competing in the third duel tonight. Let’s see how did our readers vote for these two acts:
- Felix Sandman – Every Single Day – 57.49%
- Mimi Werner – Songburning – 42.51%
The gap has come much closer in this third duel, as Felix is not that far ahead of Mimi Werner. Also, this is the first duel where our panel of editors disagree with our readers, and they think that Mimi Werner should be the one to win the duel and make it to Friends Arena.
Duel 4
And in the fourth and final duel Sigrid Bernsson and Mendez will battle it out who is going to be the last finalist of this year’s Melodifestivalen. Here’s who our readers want:
- Mendez – Everyday – 55.78%
- Sigrid Bernsson – Patrick Swayze – 44.22%
As the duels go on, the gap between the two participants is getting tighter. Our editors think Mendez should be the one to make, but our editors disagree once again, and think that the last qualifiers should be Sigrid.
