ESCBubble brings you our New Music Roundup!

Once again the ESCBubble team have hunted all across Europe for some of the freshest new music from former Eurovision and National Final artists.  Let’s see what we’ve sourced for you this week:

Dolly Style – L.O.V.E.

One thing is for sure, Dolly Style are challenging the Sugababes for most lineup changes! The two time Melodifestivalen girl group is comprised of three ‘characters’ – Molly, Holly and Polly, however the three vocalists from their 2015 entry ‘Hello Hi’ have now all changed.  The group now consisting of Vilma Davidsson (Holly), Mikaela Samuelsson (Molly) and Sarah von Reis (Polly) are back with their first release under the current lineup titled ‘L.O.V.E’:

Sieneke – En Toen Kwam Jij

The 2010 Netherlands entrant, Sieneke Peeters is back!  Sieneke came a disappointing 14th in Semi Final 2 with her entry ‘Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie)’ but has had a relatively succesful career afterwards.  Since 2010 she has has added another 5 Dutch Top 40 singles and 3 Top 40 albums.  Her latest single is called ‘En Toen Kwam Jij’ (Eng: ‘And Then Came You’) which you can listen to here:

Danny Saucedo – Undantag/Hålla emot

Danny Saudedo is well known to regular Melodifestivalen viewers!  He first appeared on the stage in the 2009 edition as part of the boyband E.M.D., who finished 3rd with ‘Baby Goodbye’.  He then went solo for his next two entries, finishing 2nd both times in 2011 and 2012 with ‘In The Club’ and ‘Amazing’ respectively.  He then swapped entering for hosting the folowing year where he also performed a well remembered interval act with Melodifestivalen legends Alcazar.  His career continues to impress and he’s now back with two songs for the price of one … ‘Undantag’ (Eng: ‘Exception’) and Hålla emot (Eng: ‘Resist’):

Anggun – Siapa Bilang Gak Bisa

Anggun is not stranger to the music business, celebrating over 20 years since the release of her first international single ‘Snow On The Sahara’.  She was selected by France to participate in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest but went on to finish a disappointing 22nd in the Final.  This new song ‘Siapa Bilang Gak Bisa’ (Eng: ‘Who Said You Can’t’) is being used as the backdrop to a new Pantene commercial in Indonesia.  You can sample it here:

3JS – Mensen

Back to the Netherlands again, and the act that followed the year after Sieneke to Eurovision – 3JS. Their name derives from the 3 band members: Jan Dulles, Jaap Kwakman and Jan de Witte and they have been on the Dutch music scene for over 10 years now.  Unfortunately their time at Eurovision was the last of an eight year run of non qualfications for their country, and they finished in a miserable last place in their Semi Final with ‘Never Alone’.  Here is their new single ‘Mensen’ (Eng: ‘People’):

Dima Bilan and Polina Goudieva – Drunk Love

The former Russian Eurovision winner has hooked up with Polina Goudieva to record a new single titled ‘Пьяная Любовь’ (Eng: ‘Drunk Love).  Dima of course won Eurovision on his second time of asking in 2008 with ‘Believe’ after finishing 2nd in 2006 with ‘Never Let You Go’.  Polina has also racked a lot of hits in her time including featuring on the top 10 German single ‘Book Of Love’ with Felix Jaehn.  Accompanied by a music video with clips of Russian weddings, here is their new duet:

Kristian Kostov – Shower Thoughts

We recently told you that 2017 Bugarian representative and runner up Kristian Kostov was back with a new release called ‘Get It’.  Well it turns out that he had three other new songs to share with us too!  The 4 track EP is titled ‘Shower Thoughts’ and as well as the title track it includes the previously released ‘Get It’ along with two other songs ‘Lullaby’ and Rift’.  You can hear the whole 4 tracker below:

Moran Mazor – Tamid

Moran was the Israeli representative at the 2013 contest in Malmö, where she didn’t quite make it out of the second semi final, finishing in 14th with ‘Rak bishvilo’.  She hasn’t released much music since that time but is now back with a new single ‘Tamid’ (Eng: ‘Always’, Hebrew:’תמיד’). which you can sample here:
