LIVE: Semi Final 1 of Destination Eurovision 2019!

Tonight we have the first of France’s semi finals of their selection process “Destination Eurovision” live from the studios of France Télévisions

Nine acts will be performing their Eurovision song, 4 of these will qualify for the Grand Final on January 26th. The qualifiers will be chosen by a 50/50 split of public televotes and the views of an International Jury, made up of 5 panel members.

The acts will also be performing cover versions of their favourites songs!

There will be a French panel in the studio who will be giving their feedback, but will not be involved in the voting process. They are Christophe Willem, André Manoukian and popular French singer Vitaa.

The show starts at 2105CET and Joe and Anne will be live blogging the show below.

My favorite Eurovision song is Joy Fleming's "Ein Lied kann eine Brücke sein", everyone needs a bit of Joy in their life! For favorite winner, Anne-Marie David's "Tu te reconnaîtras" will always be a benchmark for quality.
