Dora 2021 to take place on February 13th 2021!

After being postponed to next year due to the coronavirus pandemic, HRT decided to continue its tradition – Dora will be held next year as planned, on February 13th 2021 in Opatija. Winner will be able to represent Croatia at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

This year’s winner Damir Kedžo won Croational Eurovision preselection with ‘Divlji Vjetre’ and was set to represent the country in Rotterdam. But due to the pandemic situation, contest was cancelled, and HRT also decided that they will select brand new winner of Dora next year, as well.

Together, we got the most out of this year without the standard Eurovision Song Contest: we presented ourselves with dignity on social media, as well as in the special show Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light. Damir proved to be a great professional, and despite the situation, he did a great job of all the promotion – and the song, we can conclude without hesitation, achieved great success both in Croatia and abroad. We also thank the authors of the song “Divlji Vjetre”, Ante Pecotić and Bojan Šalamon Shalli.
