Nadine Beiler wins The Masked Singer Austria

The reality singing competiting The Masked Singer came to Austria as well this year. Even though the show started back in March when the first four episodes were broadcast, the final two had to be postponed due to the COVID pandemic. The Final of the show took place last night, and the winner was the Yeti – and when the masks came off, it was revealed that the Yeti was Nadine Beiler, Austria’s Eurovision entrant from 2011.

Nadine was not the only Eurovision-related artists in this competition – Lukas Plöchl of Trackshittaz (who represented Austria in Eurovision 2012) was one of the competitors who ended up in fourth place, as well as Simone Stelzer (who took part in the Austrian final in 1990, and ended up in second place) who finished in second place in this competition as well. Apart from them, Nathan Trent was also in this show, but as one of the judges.
