KEiiNO raises awareness about mental health with their new song!

KEiiNO has released a new single “A Winter’s Night”. Their new song is about missing a loved one while the lyrics describes going a person going alone into a winter’s night. “A Winter’s Night” is written by Keiino, Alexander Olsson and Stein Roger Sordal. Produced by Tom Hugo, recorded in Cederberg Studios and it features a string quartet from Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra.

The feeling of longing is present throughout the whole song. This song has a humanitarian side to it as the half of the income from streaming the song will be donated to Mental Helses Hjelpetelefon so stream it on iTunes, Spotify, Deezer or Youtube Music.

We like to change our personal playlists when it starts to get cold, the rain whips on the window and the wind howls outside the door. So we wanted to make a song that could give the listener a bit of the same effect as a big, soft blanket. At the same time, we wanted to address a theme that is important as we approach Christmas, a time that can evoke memories that make loneliness extra painful.
