Swedish Eurovision commentators will be Edward af Sillén and Christer Björkman!

It is now clear that Edward af Sillén is commenting on the Eurovision Song Contest this year, and, according to melodifestivalen.se, this year he’ll be joined by Christer Björkman. This year it is the Melodifestival winner Tusse who competes for Sweden with the song “Voices” in Rotterdam.

Edward af Sillén will definitely celebrate this year’s edition, since he’s commentating Eurovision, for 10th time, this year:

This is the funniest TV event of the year, so to share it with viewers for the tenth time I see as a huge honor. And what a joy to be able to do it with Eurovision lover Christer, a man, who has seen all sides of the competition. As usual, I intend to guide the viewers through the programs with a lot of love, humor and great respect for the competition.

Christer Björkman did his last Melodifestivalen earlier this year. Now he is ending his Melfest journey as a commentator for Eurovision.

Edward and I have long dreamed of being able to comment on Eurovision Song Contest together and now, after many years as head of the Swedish delegation and producer of the competition, we will get to like the contributions together. An honorable and perfect end to 20 magical years with the Melodifestivalen and Eurovision.

It’s also been said that Swedish votes in the final will be given by Carola. Sweden selected Tusse to represent the nation, with the song ‘Voices‘ – listen to it below:
