Over 120 songs submitted for Vidbir 2022!

Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne revealed that they have received 120 submissions to compete at Vidbir 2022. In October it has been revealed that Vidbir will be the selection method for Eurovision 2022, and the submissions have opened in December. The deadline is 10th of January and so far many famous Ukrainian singers sent their entries.

Wellboy, ROXOLANA, Michael Soul, IDXO, Uliana Royce, Alina Pash, Eria (Vilna from Vidbir 2018), SOWA, Nazar YA, Laura Marti from The Voice Ukraine as well as their Junior Eurovision representative from 2019, Sophia Ivanko and many others, in addition to them there are artists from Hungary, Germany and Armenia who also sent their songs. The participants selected to compete are expected to be announced before 24th of January. Vidbir will take place in February and the combined audience and jury votes will decide on the Ukrainian representative at Eurovision 2022 in Turin.

Last year Go_A ended the contest on 5th place, being the runner up of the televote, scoring 364 points in the end “Shum” became the first-ever Ukrainian song to enter the Billboard charts.
