Is one of these acts representing Austria in Turin?

While the Austrian broadcaster had initally planned to reveal the act, that is going to represent them in Turin, in December 2021 already, they now postponed the reveal to late Janurary.

However, there are four contenders that seem very likely to still be in the race for the Austrian ticket to Turin. These are the four names, that were being hinted at:

DelaDap

This is a name that may still ring a bell to some Eurovision fans. The Swing band participated at the Austrian National Final “Österreich Rockt den Song Contest” in 2012. They were supposed to participate with the song Crazy Swing, but that song was disqualified becuase it had been performed earlier, so they took part with the song Don’t Turn Around. You can listen to Crazy Swing below, to get an idea of DelaDap!

Candlelight Ficus

Candlelight Ficus is a quartet of four boys from Styria. They have released several singles and EPs already, including What’s Coming, Two Blonde B***** and Open The Door, the latter you can listen to here:

LUM!X

LUM!X is an Austrian DJ who worked with several big names already. His biggest hit “Monster” has over 70 million views on YouTube and was a cooperation with Italian DJ Gabry Ponte, who is a founding member of Eiffel 65.

ANGER

ANGER is a South Tyrolean music duo, based in Vienna, who have won several awards for their music already, and lately also released some songs in German. Their music is descirbed as a combination of auto-tune, electric guitars and technoid beats. You can get an idea of them yourslef, with the song Baby / Sie Schreit.
