In Poland, speculations are in full swing regarding the names of the stars participating in Dancing with the Stars: Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish version of the popular show. The new season is starting this autumn.

But what has been revealed is that none other than Eurovision winner Jamala will be in the line-up! By doing so she will be joining a show that has been running for 17 years in the country (this being the 13th edition) and with a special reason: it is a tribute to the large Ukrainian community in Poland. Partly so large because lots of Ukrainians had to flee their home country, as did Jamala, who currently resides in Turkey but travels around Europe as an ambassador for Ukraine.

When it comes to dancing (with the stars), Jamala already has experience with that! She has already been a contestant on the Ukrainian version of the programme, Tantsi z zirkamy (Танці з зірками), actually competing in the same season as Melovin (Eurovision 2018)! On the same cycle she was also up against the lead singers of Kadnay, Dmytro Kadnay (Vidbir 2017 & 2018) and Kazka, Oleksandra Zaritska (Vidbir 2018 & 2019).
