ESC Norge has just revealed the two hosts of the 62nd Melodi Grand Prix — it’s Marion Ravn and Fredrik Solvang who have been selected to co-host the four live shows!

MGP 2024 will kick off in January with three Heats that lead to the Grand Final in February. It will be the first time Ravn and Solvang host the competition.

The duo spoke to the media today. Solvang is truly excited to get to host the competition:

“Someone has thought creatively, because I don’t think I would have come up with this duo myself. We come from different worlds, but at the same time I think that can make it exciting.”

Meanwhile Ravn was all smiles as well:

“It was a great honor to be asked. This is one of the biggest things you can be a part of.”

Heat 1 of MGP 2024 starts on Saturday, 13th January at NRK’s studios at Marienlyst in Oslo, with Heats 2 and 3 following on 20th and 27th of January, while the Grand Final is set to take place at the Trondheim Spektrum on 3rd February.

At MGP 2023, Alessandra triumphed with her bop Queen of Kings, and took 5th place in the Eurovision Grand Final in Liverpool!
