Sources at Éirevision have confirmed today that the participating songs for Eurosong 2024 will be released from January 8 via the Ray D’Arcy Show – a radio show which airs daily between 16:00 and 17:30 CET on RTÉ Radio 1.

A total of 380 songs were submitted to RTÉ for this year’s contest, but only 6 songs have been selected to compete for the Irish ticket to Malmö.

As for the format and date of Eurosong 2024, details are yet to be confirmed – although it seems likely that RTÉ will continue their tradition of hosting a live final on The Late Late Show early next year.

In this year’s contest, Irish representatives Wild Youth just missed out on a qualifying spot with their entry ‘We Are One’, landing in 12th place in the semi-final.
