Detailed results of Festival da Canção 2024 have been revealed

Portuguese broadcaster, RTP has released the full results of all three live shows for this years edition of Festival da Canção.

In the first semi-final of the contest “Memory” by Noble ended on sixth place after the first round and it was voted out out to advance through to the finals from the second round of voting by almost half of the audience votes. Second semi-final was more exciting in that field as there was a tie for fifth place between “Primavera” by Cristina Clara and “Dia” by Maria João who both received 12 points but as the jury vote was the tiebreaker Cristina Clara advanced and Maria João needed to fight for her place in the final through the second round which brought us very close results. She ended on third place after the second voting round with just 2% of votes less than the qualifier Rita Onofre with Criatura and 0.02% of votes less than the second placed act after the second round of votes, João Couto. Semi-Final One – 24th of February – ranking was as follows (jury+televote = total):

  1. Nena – “Teorias da Conspiração” 10 + 5 = 15
  2. Perpétua – “Bem Longe Daqui” 6 + 12 = 18
  3. Mela – “Água” 4 + 3 = 7
  4. Mila Dores – “Afia a Língua” 3 + 1 = 4
  5. Left – “Volto a Ti” 1 + 2 = 3
  6. Rita Rocha – “Pontos Finais” 7 + 7 = 14
  7. Noble – “Memory” 2 + 8 = 10
  8. João Borsch – “Pelas Costuras” 8 + 6 = 14
  9. Iolanda – “Grito” 12 + 10 = 22
  10. Bispo – “Casa Portuguesa” 5 + 4 = 9

After the second round of voting 

  1. Noble – “Memory” – 47.45%
  2. Bispo – “Casa Portuguesa” – 27.42%
  3. Mela – “Água”- 15.37%
  4. Left – “Volto a Ti” – 7.43%
  5. Mila Dores – “Afia a Língua” – 6.33%

Semi-Final Two – 2nd of March – ranking was as follows (jury+televote = total):

  1. Buba Espinho – “O Farol” 7 + 7 = 14 
  2. Cristina Clara – “Primavera” 10 + 2 = 12
  3. Léo Middea – “Doce Mistério” 12 + 5 = 17
  4. Filipa – “You Can’t Hide” 1 + 1 = 2
  5. João Couto – “Quarto Para Um” 4 + 6 = 10
  6. Huca – “Pé de Choro” 6 + 3 = 9
  7. No Maka ft. Ana Maria – “Aceitar” 5 + 10 = 15
  8. Maria João – “Dia” 8 + 4 = 12
  9. Rita Onofre – “Criatura” 2 + 8 = 10
  10. Silk Nobre – “Change” 3 + 12 = 15

After the second round of voting 

  1. Rita Onofre – “Criatura” – 23.72%
  2. João Couto – “Quarto Para Um” – 21.70%
  3. Maria João – “Dia” – 21.68%
  4. Huca – “Pé de Choro” – 20.82%
  5. Filipa – “You Can’t Hide” – 12.08%

Grand Final – 9th of March – ranking was as follows (jury+televote = total):

  1. Silk Nobre – “Change” 7 + 5 = 12
  2. Rita Onofre – “Criatura” 5 + 0 = 5
  3. Noble – “Memory” 1 + 6 = 7
  4. Buba Espinho – “O farol” 8 + 2 = 10

  6. Iolanda – “Grito” 12 + 10 = 22
