In December, Festivali i Këngës took place and Besa Kokëdhima has been selected to represent Albania at Eurovision Song Contest 2024.  A few weeks ago we informed you that her entry will be revamped and today the official version of Albanian entry for 2024 “Titan” has been released.

Besa was in born in an Albanian city called Fier. As a kid, she took piano lessons and one of her musical teachers encouraged her to start singing although her parents were hesitant about that. Later on she took part at many talent shows and competitions organised by RTSH among the others. She competed in Festivali i Këngës back in 2008 and 2010. In 2013 Besa won the Albanian competition Kënga Magjike with “Tatuazh në zemër”. She also competed at the Romanian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest back in 2009, the song Besa performed at Selecția Națională had the title “Nothin’ gonna change”.

“Titan” was done by Kledi Bahiti, Gia Koka, Alias Lj and Besa Kokëdhima herself. Lyrics were written by Gia Koka, the one behind the arrangement of the song was Serban Cazan while the production was done by Darko Dimitrov who has been the one behind several Eurovision entries: North Macedonia 2019, 2018, 2014, 2013, 2006, Albania 2020, Serbia 2018, 2019, 2021, Montenegro 2022 as well as Georgia 2024.

Besa will be performing “Titan” in the first half of the second semi-final which is set to take place on 9th of May. You can listen to the song below
