The 15 year old girl took the time to talk to ESCBubble about her forthcoming participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

What was your first reaction when you were told that you would represent your country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015?

I was so happy when RTCG invited me! My family and friends give me huge support. And that means a lot to me because I can share my happiness with them.

How would you describe your song ‘’Oluja’’ in a few words? Is there a message behind the song?

Oluja (The storm) is song about love, emotions. Music is fun, catchy and timeless. The message is that young people, especially when they are in love, always brings strength and energy like storm.

Do you have any special ideas for your performance in Sofia (ex: choreography, dress…)?

Yes I do. I already have my choreographer Milica Cerovic and costume is made by fashion designer Ivana Murisic. Everything fits well together and I am happy to have opportunity to work with them.
At what age did you start singing? How did you start singing?

I started when I was 4. I did many international music festivals and won several awards, in Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Italy, Montenegro… My love to music was since that young age, I was always singing, and watching music shows and events. I even attend ballet and dancing schools. And I always imagined myself being at the stage with lot of people in audience. That dream came true. Actually in about 10 days I will join Junior Eurovision stage in Sofia and feel that beautiful energy that music brings to me.

Besides singing, do you have other passions/hobbies?

I love to spend time with my family and friends. I am first year in Podgorica’s gymnasium, so whenever I have free time, which is to be honest, rare, I love to go to coastal towns of Montenegro, in Budva, Kotor or Herceg Novi. I love to dance, watch movies and listen to music…

Are you a Eurovision fan? What are your favorite Eurovision songs?

”Heroes” by Mans Zelmerlow and My number one by Helena Paparizou! From Junior Eurovision, my favorite entries are ”Ti si moja prva ljubav” by Dino Jelusic (Croatia 2003) and ”Tu primo Grande Amore” by Vincenzo Cantiello (Italy 2014).

At last, what would you like to say to your fans that are going to support you at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015?

Oluja is a song about love! Anyone whose love is strong as a storm should vote for me 🙂

We would like to thank Jana Mirkovic for the interview and wish her the best of luck in Sofia, at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, at the end of the month of November!
