Chris Medina is ready for Melodi Grand Prix

This Friday, NRK will announce their artists and songs that will participate in the upcoming Melodi Grand Prix 2019 which will be held in Oslo Spectrum on March 2nd. However, one of the artists is already known. According to Norways largest news outlet, VG, the American artist Chris Medina (35) is all set to make his debut in Melodi Grand Prix.

Chris Medina who is mostly known for his hit “What Are Words” from 2011, is currently living in Oslo with his Norwegian girlfriend and works as a full time musician. He stated the following to VG:

I’m a bit afraid of these kind of competitions. It might even hurt my career. If you do participate however, people will notice you.

A total of 10 acts are going to compete at this year’s Melodi Grand Prix. The official announcement of all acts will take place in a press conference in Oslo in four days time, on the 25th of January.
