The big night is almost upon us, and tonight sees the first of the two shows which combine to give us our result determining the winner of Eurovision 2019.

The semi finals are over, and we barely have time to reflect on the outcomes from semi 2, as the final ten qualifiers progressed to the grand final. Tonight’s second rehearsal doubles up as the Jury show. As always, five jurors from each nation will rank the songs tonight and this will form 50% of the overall score. When this is combined with tomorrow night’s televote score, we will have our winner.

We will also cover the eagerly anticpated intervals, although we don;t expect Madonna to be performing in the arena this evening, so that will have to wait until tomorrow.
