The first live show of the second season of X Factor Malta is going to take place this Sunday. The four mentors – Ray Merciera, Ira Losco, Howard Debono and Alexandra Alden have each selected their four acts they hope to win this year’s edition of the Contest with. Four acts will be eliminated on Sunday, and eight of them will remain in the process to become the winner of X Factor Malta, and to represent Malta in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.

The winner of the first season of X Factor Malta was Michela Pace, who went on to represent Malta in Tel Aviv with “Chameleon”. She finished in 14th place.
