The first time Eurovision had the semi final system introduced was in 2004 when the contest took place in Istanbul. Since 2008 we were having 2 semi finals in each year. Since the introduction to this system only 2 countries kept their 100% qualification rate and these are Australia and Ukraine. Other countries with remarkable qualification rate are Russia , Sweden, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Azerbaijan which failed to qualify only once as well as Greece and Romania which failed to qualify twice.
