Here are the dates of Eesti Laul 2021 – all shows will be taking place in Tallinn

The Estonian national broadcaster ERR has announced the dates of Eesti Laul 2021. The semifinals of Estonian national selection for Eurovision are held in February 18th and 20th 2021, and the final of the contest will take place in March 6th 2021. The semifinals will be held at the studios of ERR, and the final is planned to be held at the Saku Suurhall in Tallinn.

It isn’t known yet if Eesti Laul 2021 will be held with of without a live audience. For the last couple of years the semifinals of Eesti Laul have been held in Tartu, the second biggest city of Estonia, but this year all of the shows will take place in Tallinn. According to Tomi Rahula, the Executive Producer of Eesti Laul, the semifinals were decided to held in Tallinn instead of Tartu because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Rahula tells that because a public event at full capacity can not be held in the current situation, ERR don’t have the opportunity to take the whole production to Tartu to hold a concert in a half-empty or even empty hall.
