As many competing countries started their process to choose who will represent them in Rotterdam in May, it’s now the turn for Israel to finish its selection as well. After the cancellation of the contest last year due to Covid-19, Israeli broadcaster Kan announced that the Israeli representative for 2020, Eden Alene, will be back in 2021. This year, Kan released a list of songs which was later shortlisted to three which will compete tonight hoping to become the Israeli entry for 2021.
The songs tonight are:
- La La Love
- Ue La La
- Set Me Free
Hosting the show tonight is Lucy Ayoub who previously hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv in 2019. The voting takes place through Kan’s app and will finish tonight after all songs are performed. Due to ongoing circumstances, no live show will take place and pre-recorded videos will be shown instead.
