Marija’s !Molitva!, performed by Edel Reinklang in the Korean music show Phantom Singer!

The most popular European show, Eurovision Song Contest has produced some hits which are known across the whole world and the acts which took part at the show graced the stages of singing talent shows all across Europe, Australia, North America and Asia. Now we have news from South Korea and a music show called Phantom Singer. The current season of the show is an ongoing All Star Season which features nine finalists, teams from previous three seasons of the show which compete for the title of the “best K-crossover group” new episode airs every Tuesday night and it’s broadcast on JTBC, South Korean subscription network and broadcasting company .

Even though “Molitva” was sung by the quartet Edel Reinklang in the episode 3 which aired on 9th of February the video was geoblocked so the performance couldn’t reach wider audience and it found it’s place all over Serbia media today and Marija Šerifović saw the cover which left a strong impression on her. Usually singers decide to perform a cover of a song in English or in their native language but all the participants of Phantom Singer perform the songs in their original language so the Korean quartet delivered a stunning performance the winning entry of Eurovision 2007 entirely in Serbian. As soon as she watched their performance, Marija wrote a post which was taken down by Instagram due to copyright claims so she tagged the members of Edel Reinklang the band in her  Instagram story in order to share with them the following message

Dear colleagues, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. This is the best version of “Molitva” I have ever heard. I wish you all the best in your future career and competition. And see you soon ❤️
