“Audieri Live” to be broadcast tomorrow!

On Monday, Moldova has revealed the acts in the running to represent the country at Eurovision 2022. The broadcaster revealed they received 51 submission and out of those they selected 30 songs (one author sent two songs) and on Tuesday it has been revealed that Misscatylove withdrew from the selection and now the total of 28 acts are still in the running. The next stage involves the live auditions which are set to take place tomorrow, 29th of January. The auditions round “Audieri Live” will be broadcast live on Moldova 2 and online, it is expected to last around 3 hours in the time frame from 13.00 to 16.00 CET. The judges will be basing their decisions on two things the song itself and vocal of performer while the stage performance won’t be the focus of it. After the auditions jury will be deciding the results which will be announced in the evening news of Moldova 1 around 18.00 CET.

There are a lot of familiar artists and returnees among the competitors including the representatives of Moldova at Eurovision 2005 and 2011, Zdob Si Zdub; Denis Midone represented Moldova at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 and some of the names which previously competed at the Moldovan national selections include: Maxim Zavidia, Pelageya Stefoglo, Dianna Rotaru, LEMONIQUE, Diana Elmas, Bumbac Tudor…

Last year, Moldova was represented by Natalia Gordienko who performed the song “Sugar”  and ended the contest on 13th place with 115 points
