Subwoolfer won’t perform in the third semi-final of Melodi Grand Prix!

The third semi-final of Norwegian selection, Melodi Grand Prix 2022 is set to take place this Saturday. It will feature four acts competing for a chance to qualify to the Grand final scheduled for 19th of February and it was set to reveal a performance of one direct finalist which was in this case Subwoolfer. As it has been revealed by NRK the members of Subwoolfer have been tested positive for Covid-19, so they won’t be able to perform live their song “Give That Wolf A Banana” for the first time and instead we will be watching the performance of NorthKid with “Someone”. This wasn’t the first time that someone involved with MGP 2022 got tested positive as one of the hosts, Annika Momrak was prevented to physically host the second semi-final last Saturday and she joined in hosting for a bit, online.

The four acts competing in this week’s semi-final are VILDE with “Titans”;Sturla with “Skår i hjertet”; Oda Gondrosen with “Hammer of Thor” and Mari Eriksen Bølla with “Your Loss” the winner will join the seven finalists which are so far announced. You can check our interview with VILDE here, and stay tuned for more interviews with artists competing at the third semi-final of Melodi Grand Prix 2022.
