Kalush Orchestra have won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin for Ukraine, setting an impressive new record in the televoting with 28 sets of 12 points from the participating countries, resulting in 439 televote points in total. Due to the ongoing war in the country, Ukraine will sadly be unable to host the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023. However, their chosen entry will be directly qualified to the final and the EBU has promised to put Ukrainian influences in the production of next year’s Eurovision Song Contest!
