As we all know, after being absent for 30 editions, Luxembourg is finally back in the Eurovision Song Contest. In order to find their entry for Malmö, they are hosting a national selection titled “Luxembourg Song Contest”, where a total of eight acts are going to be competing.
Luxembourg’s national broadcaster RTL announced the names of the eight contestants over the course of this morning. The contestants are:
- Joel Marques Cunha (semi-finalists of The Voice of Germany in 2023)
- Naomi Ayé (participant of The Voice Kids in France in 2020)
- EDSUN (producer and singer-songwriter)
- Krick (participant of The Voice of Germany in 2018)
- One Last Time (alternative pop-rock band)
- Tali Golergant (vocal coach and music teacher)
- Angy & Rafa Ela (Angy was a contestant in The Voice Belgique in 2013, whilst Rafa Ela won Luxembourg’s Next Pop Star in 2016 and Top Voice Luxembourg in 2018)
- CHAiLD (young rising electro pop artist)
The songs the eight finalists will be competing with are going to be released at a later date.
Luxembourg Song Contest will take place on the 27th of January in Rockhal, and the winner is going to be selected by a mix of international jury votes and televoting.
