Junior Eurovision Steering Group revealed

Last November, Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place and France was crowned as the winner of the show. A few weeks ago it has been announce that Spain will be the one to host this years edition of the show. Today the Steering Group for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been revealed.

Alexandra Redde-Amiel is the new Chairperson of the Steering Group for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She is the French HoD at both Eurovision and Junior Eurovision. In addition to that Alexandra was the Executive Producer for Junior Eurovision 2021 and 2023.

The steering group consists of:

  • Chairperson
  • Two elected members of the heads of delegation
  • The executive producer of the previous host country, the executive producer of the current year’s host broadcaster and the executive producer of the next host broadcaster
  • The EBU Junior Eurovision Song Contest Executive Supervisor.

The members of the Steering Group for Junior Eurovision are:

  • Alexandra Redde-Amiel (France TV, Chairperson)
  • Ana Maria Bordas (RTVE)
  • Anja Zegwaard (AVROTROS)
  • Carla Bugalho (RTP)
  • David Tserunyan (AMPTV)
  • Mariangela Borneo (RAI)
  • Marta Piekarska (TVP)
  • Martin Österdahl (EBU)

So far seven countries have confirmed their intention to take part at the Junior Eurovision 2024:

  • France
  • Italy
  • Ireland
  • The Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Spain (host)
  • Ukraine

Zoe Clauzure won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with “Cœur ” after receiving the total of 228 points. You can watch her performance below.
