“Montevizija” to select Montenegro’s Eurovision entry for 2018!

After years of internal selection, Montenegro’s national broadcaster RTCG is bringing back Montevizija, where Montenegro’s entry for Eurovision 2018 will be selected!

The only time Montenegro selected their entry fully in a national selection was back in 2007, when Stevan Faddy won with “Ajde kroci”. In 2008, RTCG organized “Montevizija” where only a singer was being selected – Stefan Filipovic was the winner, while the song was then internally selected for him. Since 2009, Montenegro has always selected their entry completely internally.

The full rules and regulations of “Montevizija”, including the date(s) when this festival is going to be held, are going to be released on the 1st of November.

Slavko Kalezic represented Montenegro at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev with his song “Space” which unfortunately failed to qualify for the Grand Final.
